When I came on board at Pacha, they were told by every photographer that it was impossible. The requirements of shooting in a club that dark, the smoke machine, and the limited use of flash as requested by most of the artists were all stumbling blocks that no one could work around. Within a night I had found solutions to all of the issues, and they brought me on as Media Director.
At the time, the process for getting photos from a Photographer to the website was a bloated 14 step process between 3-5 people that took weeks. I brought it down to a 5 step process that only needed two people and as technology evolved, got time from shooting an image to time it was on Social Media pages down to “As its happening in real time”.
A very special thanks to Alexandra Houston from famed Pacha London party Kidology, who got me to NYC during her UK sabbatical in NYC. It was a Wonderful time working with Charlotte Underwood(Now at Rebelle), Andrew Inomata(Now at The Standard Meatpacking), Zac Merhan(Matinee NYC), Manny Conde, Eddie Dean, and NYC Nightlife Darling Rob Fernandez, who is no longer with us(House of Rob)
